| Personal History | Emily was born in 2372. She was raised on a Starfleet vessel, her parents were both Starfleet officers, Her mother being the captain of a starship, while her father served as Chief Counselor. Her mother was given command of the USS Falco, where she first met Domingo Martinez. When he was stationed on the Falco from 2386 to 2392. Emily was 14 when she meet and looked up to Domingo. Emily considered him to be a big brother, she never had a brother and he was close to the Patterson family. Emily joined Starfleet in 2390 and completed the Academy in 2394 and was assigned to the USS Ottawa, which she was relieved to hear, the captain was her older adoptive brother like figure. She was happy to be working under Domingo and his good friend Gabriel Sharpe, her commanding Officer. Emily was assigned to the USS Ottawa on May 24, 2394 as Engineering Officer. She met the USS Ottawa at Empok Nor, and transferred over with the new crew joining. She had just completed the academy, and did not really have time to see her parents, luckily for her the USS Falco was also docking at Empok Nor.
