| Physical Description | Freyr is a large thylacinidae-like being with medium-long-length red colored fur, heterochromic eyes and long pointy ears that stand straight up from his head which are slightly longer than his sister’s. His facial markings are cream, slowly darkening to a lighter red ad they move back; similar to the red panda of Earth. Black stripes begin to appear down his hindquarters, down his back, over his rump, and ringing his long bushy tail. His tail is often seen wagging happily and playful; the eternal optimist. She has a pouch over her lower abdominal region tucked away between her hind quarters with a posterior facing opening. Male Thyla have a backward opening pouch which they tuck their sheathed penis and scrotum with testicles into in order to protect them during periods of high activity. Even though Freyr is listed as a hermaphrodite, he has 'YZ' sex chromosomes. Like 'ZZ' chromosome hermaphrodites, he has full sets of both male and female genitalia, however likely due to his inherited 'Y' chromosomes, he has slightly more masculine characteristics, and may display slightly masculine preferences. |
