Counselor Torveni Trekat of the detapa council diplomatic ministry council was introduced in "USS Ottawa's S1, E3: The True Way." He was portrayed as a typical ego driven Cardassian. The counselor asked Commodore Domingo Martinez for assistance in dealing with the True Way Alliance. Domingo agreed to provide help in the form of an open forum.
