"Why is class so boring Sam?" Peyton asked, he dove into his mash potatoes, like mad man who forgot his manners at home. He was a little annoyed, with how boring class was. His only excitement so far, was lunch with Sam. At least today he did not have to eat with his Sister.
Sam looked grossed out at Peyton. "And they say the males in my family are menaces." She shrugged at his questions. "Maybe the wrong teacher, I don't know. I for one am looking forward to math."
"Math, really." Asked Peyton, with a look of amazement. He wondered to himself, why would anyone look forward to taking math? He knew he needed the skills, but it was not a skill that he looked forward to taking. He was more of a hands on kind of guy. He loved sports and art.
"Yes, math, algebra, calculations, science. I have a very distinguished taste." She smiled as she took a bite from her food. "You know I found it more easy if calculate everything in. Wish that helped me before I was banished from the Arlington."
Peyton smiled as he thought to himself, maybe she does have a bad side like little miss Carly. He found that attractive. "Okay, I have to ask, what did you to get banished from the Arlington?" He asked with excitement in his tone.
Sam laughed a bit uncomfortable and said, "I put green dye in the shower heads of the senior staff quarters. That got a little out of hand. Commander Shras was probably effected the most. Apparently the dye was hard to get of the Andorian's hair and skin." She sighed at that last part. "I'm his favorite niece that's not from his bloodline, and that is a human, so I guess that says a lot."
"So you have a creative side, nicely done Sam." He said with that big cheesy smile of his. He could not Sam was just as rebellious as Carly was. He knew he was going to like having Sam around.
She just shrugged. "I guess I am. I just think the perfect prank needs perfect planning and calculation, so that is why I work extra hard on my math and such."
"Touche Sam, but still hold my reservation about how boring it is." He suggested, as he continued on. "Any big plans tonight?" Peyton asked, as he pulled in a few strings and got some holodeck time reserved for himself.
"Dinner with my brother. But other then that, I have no other plans." She took another bite and then said, "Why? You had something planned?"
"Got a holodeck reservation. Curious if you wanted to tag along?" He asked, fearing she would say no, since she had plans with her brother later.
"I could join you after dinner," She said, "Dinner is at 1800 hours. When is your holodeck reservation?"
"1900 Hours." Said Peyton, with a big cheesy grin.
Sam tried her best to ignore the big cheesy grin and just said, "Like I said, I could join you after dinner."
"I look forward to it, We have two choices we can play racquetball if we do you will need to bring workout gear. Or we can explore the lava tubes of Risa, heard they are very pretty." He said, wondering what option Sam would opt for. Either option was suitable for Peyton. He continued to slowly eat his food, as he waited for her to reply.
"I am quite sporty, but not right after dinner," She chuckled, so let's do a little exploring. I have never seen the lava tubes on Risa."
"They are quiet, oh what's the word I heard Miss Bernard say, oh yes....its quiet lovely." He said in a poorly attempted british accent. The caves were very nice, and aesthetically appealing. Peyton had just finished eating, and was gathering his plate and utensils.
"Quiet lovely?" Sam repeated looking confused. "Or do you mean
"I guess we will find out together." He giggled, as he got up and got ready to leave. He had finished eating. "I'll see you at 1900." He stated rhetorically. She did not need to respond.
