[USS Juno] An opportunity arises

Mission: [USS Shanghai] S1, E6: The Last Ride
Location: Captain's Ready Room
Timeline: 06/02/2394, 1700 Hours

"Sorry Harry, but the decision has been made. Starfleet feels it would take to long for the USS Juno to under go refit, and you remain her captain. I do have good news for you. I have a ship lined up and ready to go, before you ask, no you can not change her name. I already asked." Said Domingo, as she looked from the monitor.

Harry was very upset, he did not like the idea of being pulled from the USS Juno. He wanted to refit the Juno, but it appeared that Starfleet had other ideas for him. He feared what vessel, Starfleet was going to give him.

After badly damaging the Juno, he wondered if Starfleet would trust him again with another vesta class vessel. "What ship do you have in mind, Sir?" Asked Harry, eager to learn his fate and the fate of the crew. What ship would he stuck with.

"I will start by saying its a Carrier, given the attack style of the Crescent, your going to need a tactical edge. So we are going to assign to you the new state of the art Aventine Class Carrier, from the vesta line." Said Domingo with a big grin on his face. He did not blame Harry for the damage of the USS Juno.

That was the actions of the Crescent. He he knew sending the Juno design with no backup though, would be a wrong call. The Aventine had a similarbody frame to the original Vesta. However, she was slightly larger to accommodate her new hanger bay.

"Your kidding me, right?" Asked Harry in disbelief? He was not a certified carrier captain. He went to school to command cruisers and escorts.

"Afraid not Captain, you will have to learn on the go. Starfleet wants the USS Shanghai launched by the 10th, she still needs to be crewed and supplied by then, see to it. Then report to me personally at Port Royale. I have a mission for you." Said Domingo. As he closed the channel.
