[USS Juno] Leaving DS9

Mission: [USS Shanghai] S1E2: Encounter in the Abyss
Location: Bridge
Timeline: MD+4, 1100 hours

Harry had just walked onto the bridge. "Number One, are all of the supplies onboard and the crew, I want to leave as soon as possible," he said, thinking the longer they linger, the further away the unknown hostile get. Even with the Juno's quantum slip stream, the hostile forces have a significant lead.

Harry wanted to ask how did the joy ride to Bajor went, but at the moment, they had more pressing matters to attend too, like the successful rescue of their federation citizens.

"Captain." Bers said in greeting, rising from the big chair. "Just got word all normal supplies aboard. Extra relief supplies as well. Personnel over from DS9." he said. "All in all, ready to get underway."

"Miss Taylor, may I assume you have plotted a course through the wormhole?" Asked Harry, as he was ready to leave the station and find Tera as soon as possible.

"Course plotted Captain, just awaiting your orders." She said, itching to leave to Deep Space Nine. It's a nice place to visit, but she knew the longer thTastayed at DS9, the further away the hostile forces got with the federation personal.

"Welcome to the bridge doctor." Said Harry. As he walked over to his chair, and motioned for her to sit to his left. Bervag would sit on the right side.

T'San took the seat next to the captain. "Thank you, captain. But shouldn't I be in sickbay, be ready for anything?"

"Not just yet, how about after we depart the station." Suggested Harry.

"Very well," Said T'San.

"Mister Xalanth, have you had a chance to review the footage at New Bajor?" Asked Harry.

" Yes, sir. I have team's preparing for rescue and looking for any information on the attackers. We'll get the people back." The dragonian said from his station.

"Miss Taylor, prepare to depart the station, clear all moorings and depressurize the airlock." ordered Harry.

"Aye Captain," said Avril, as she inputted the codes, to depressurize the airlocks and remove safety locks on the attached to the ship, the devices that were connecting the Juno, to the station.

"Lieutenant Taylor, get us clearance from operations to depart Deep Space Nine." Said Harry.

Avril smiled as she made the request, once she got her clearance, she said "Ops has cleared us, Captain."

The USS Juno began to pull away from the station, and the engines fired up and the ship was now heading to the wormhole. Harry tapped on his ship wide intercom. "All hands this is Captain, we are preparing to leave Deep Space Nine, and proceed with our mission, all hands go yellow alert, until this situation is resolved. We will be arriving at New Bajor in four hours." Ordered Harry, wondering if he needed to explain to Kerja later, the differences of the alert status.

Harry decided to a go a little old school this was a thing his former captain would do from time to time. He looked at the bridge crew and continued to hold down the ship wide intercom button, continuing on to say in his speech. "We will find our missing citizens, we will discover who this new mystery race, and what there intentions truly are, before we can track them down, I want to go around the departments, give me a go or no go if your department is fully stocked, this will be the last chance to get gear or supplies." said Harry as he finished his speech.

"Helm" Harry started off.

"Helm is a go." SAid Avril, grateful they were finally heading to New Bajor.

"Tactical" Hary said, with a big grin on his face.

" Ready to go." Replied the lizard.

"Operations?" Asked Harry.

"Where a go." Said the Operations Officer.

"Medical?" Asked Harry, as he turned to the left to look at T'San.

"Medical is ready, sir!" Said T'San.

"Engineering?" Asked Harry.

"Go Captain." Said the Chief Engineer.

"Bridge?" Asked Harry as he looked to Bervag.

"Finally, Kitchen." Asked Harry waiting for Dan to give the go ahead. Can not leave if your kitchen staff did not get all of their supplies they needed.

"Kitchen is ready to go cap'tan." Came Dan's voice over the intercom.

"number one you have the bridge, I am going to call Commodore Johnson, and let him we are in route, you have the bridge." Said Harry, as he got out of his chair, and looked over to T'San.

"Aye sir." Bervag said.

"Doctor can I see you in my ready room for a moment?" Harry asked.

"Of course," Said T'San as she got up.

Harry and T'San talked briefly. He asked her, about raising Kerja, and she told him that he was doing okay. And he should seek the guidance of Dan. A good Chef can be a friendly ear for the captain. Plus the Chef was also a father. Harry said he would talk to him.

After T'San left his office, he ended up talking to Commodore Johnson, and learned he was about to be promoted to the rank of Commander. Sadly the promotion came after the Admiral had returned to his starbase. So he was going to have to conduct the ceremony himself. He debated, who should promote him? Typically that honor would fall to his Commanding Officer of a loved one.

Commodore Johnson was not available, and he barely knew Kerja. But protocol was protocol. He thought he would at least ask her, if she was interested.
