Mission: [USS Shanghai] S1E2: Encounter in the Abyss
Timeline: 05/14/2394, 1250 Hours

Xalanth smiled as he sat down on his bed having just put his daughters to bed. Now everyone was back in their correct body all he wanted to do was take some painkillers and get some rest. It felt relaxing for him to feel his twin hearts beating in his chest and to feel his three toes.

" Glad to have all your parts back in one piece." Came the playful voice of his mate as she stepped through the door her hair and body wrapped in a wet towel.

" Indeed and i believe your glad to back in your's," he replied as she walked over and sat down next to him. He could feel the heat from her body as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her back onto the bed.

They said nothing simply holding each other tight. Both could tell what the other wanted, They wanted to join with each other and create a new life.

Gritting his teeth the lizard broke the silence. " I'll go and see the doctor in the morning. I don't think she's going to find anything, but it's worth a shot."

The hybrid smiled as she rolled off so she was next to her beloved. She wrapped her arms around him as she leaned against his chest.

" I hope we have a son next." she said softly as she fell asleep in his arms.

" So do I" He replied as his yellow eyes closed as they drifted into a long and peaceful sleep.
