Mission: [USS Ottawa] S1, E2: Empok Nor
Location: Risa

Jazin woke up in the resort, finding Ellie gone. He thought nothing of it, he trusted a Marine to stay out of trouble. So he threw on sandals, a yellow button down short sleeve shirt and navy shorts and went out in search of his fiancé. A word that made him feel warm inside. Like a weight had been taken off of him. He grabbed himself a bottle of water asd just walked around.

In o doing he saw an awesome backback in a store window. "Well, a little shopping cant hurt." he said. He entered and grabbed the pack. Heading to the counter he sighted a rather familiar Marine Colonel. Well, that was easy he laughed to himself

Ellie was standing in front of a mirror holding holding dresses in front of her. She had a purple one and a white one with flowers. She couldn't decide but, she knew she would take them both in the end anyways. It's been a while since she had been shopping, 9 years, and it always made her feel great when she was trying on different clothes and picking out nice things. It made her forget a moment she was a marine and get out of her daily routine. She didn't notice Jazin was close by.

Jazin just grinned. It did him good to see Ellie to just relax. After all that they have been through she'd definitely earned it. He muffled a chuckle as he went over to see what was happening. Good thing I saw the bag he thought

"The purple looks awesome." He said.

Ellie looked up and said, "You think so?" She held up the other one again. " You know, it's good that you're here." She put the dresses in his arms and walked to a rack and got some other things and put them in his arms as well. "Follow me," she motioned him to follow her. They went to the fitting rooms and she took one of the dresses and then pushed him down on the couch there. She went in to the fitting room and put the dress on. She pulled the curtain aside. "Well?" She asked showing the dress to him.

"That's a winner." He smiled. He gave the "ok" sign.

Ellie looked at herself in the mirror. She then grabbed another dress and changed in to it. She came out again. She did that several more times. Before finally deciding to buy them all. As she walked out with a small bag, Jazin was holding the others, she said, "Oh come with me, I saw these cutest shoes." She took his arm and pulled him along to another store.

He rolled his eyes, but he followed. As they entered he sighed as he tried to negotiate all those bags through an extrodinarily narrow door. But make it he did.

"I can take those for you." A clerk said. "And send them off tou your room." She offered a friendly smile.

"Thank you very much." He said. He rejoined Ellie as she was just arriving to the shoes. "Hey Ellie. How about we catch a drink or two after this?"

Ellie took a box from the rack. She looked to him. "Yea, sure, of course, I could use a break." She said with a smile. She then showed them the shoes and put them on. Jazin seemed to like them, but she wasn't sure if he just said that because he was tired of the shopping or if he actually liked them. She put them back in the box. "Let's get these and you can pick a place for us to drink." She said.

"Sounds great. Shoes really do look great by the way" he grinned.

Carrying the shoes the Trill walked into a bar hed heard scuttlebutt about. As they did the caitian at the bar put his hand up. "Hello! What can I get you fine people?" He smiled.

"Ladies first, Ellie." Jazin said

Ellie thought a moment and then said, "I would like a malibu on the rocks." She miled and then turned to Jazin. "Let's get a seat in a booth, nice ant cozy." She grinned.

"Jim beam, neat please/" Jazin replied. "And I agree." he grinned

Ellie took her drink and then walked with Jazin behind her to a nice place and sat down. She waited for Jazin to be seated. "Sorry to drag you trough all that, it's been 9 years since I had time to do some decent shopping. I had to make up for it."

"Well that mission was accomplished." he grinned.

Ellie leaned over to him and smiled. "Jazin..." She took his hand. "We haven't talked about our new situation. The one where I will be your commanding officer and your wife." She held his hand close to her cheek. "It's an unusual situation, one that is unheard of in starfleet. I just wanted you to know that I wouldn't trade you for anything in the universe and I know you are a wonderful...wonderful first officer. For nine years you have been my first officer and my trusted companion." She looked in his eyes lovingly. "And now you will be my husband. Telll me, how do you see our future together?"

"Ellie. Everything you say is true." He began. "And I feel the same way about you. You can bank on that." He took her hands.

"Nine years is a long time. Long enough to learn what kind of person the other is. And we haven't killed each other" he laughed. "So I'd say we're doing something right." He took a drink. "Does that make any sense?"

Ellie smiled. "It does make sense, thank you for those words."

Jazin only grinned as he looked at his wife to be. "Meant every one"

Ellie finished her drink. "Now, I bought this really nice dress for this wedding. How about you get everything ready and I get dressed. I really can't wait any longer, let's do this now." She got up and took his hand. "And I want eternity, not until death." She whispered. "Cause that way no one can part us, not even Umbra."

"Best Idea I've heard all day." Jazin grinned. "I'll call everybody." He turned to the caitian bartender. "You busy?" he asked.

"Not really." he said.

"Got time to bartend a wedding?" the Trill asked.

"Of course!" can the reply. "And congratulations!"
