Powerboarding

Mission: [USS Ottawa] S1, E3: The True Way
Location: Beaches of the Risa Resort
Timeline: 05/30/2394, 1400 Hours

After enjoying a nice meal, Peyton led Sam and himself over to the power board rental shop in the promenade. "how much experience do you have on one of these?" Asked Harry, as he walked into the line. There was a few people waiting to rent a power board.

Sam looked at the powerboards line up and stood next to Peyton. Sam was a really experienced power boarder. It was something she did a lot back on Earth outside her studies. She turned to Peyton. "I am really more of a skater myself. Why don't you teach me? I can tell you just can't wait to grab my waist to manoeuvre me around that board. I probably have no choice to endure it, not unless I want to learn this, right?"

"If you can skate, you can power board, if you want me to hold you close, all you have to do is ask?" He said in a soft voice, and a big grin on his voice, as he stood closer to her, but still keeping his distance. He felt that she was baiting, but for what purpose, he was not sure. He smiled as he thought to himself, don't play easy to get. So he thought for a second. "The same concepts apply, body placement and shifting the body in sync with the board. You'll get the hang of it." He said, as he walked closer to the beach line with his board in his hand.

Sam walked a bit clumsy with the board under her arm behind Peyton. " I am not sure if Ice skating is like power boarding." At the beach line she dropped the board in the sand. She sighed. " I really do understand your caution, but I am not like my brother, Peyton." She stepped on the board. "Now come on, we can even do it here on the shores if you're afraid I would play you on the water. Now get your hands on these hips. I just know you want to." She looked daring at him.

Peyton felt this was a ploy of some sort. He smiled as he said. "Aggressive, Momma knows what she wants?" He teased a little, as he walked up behind her, and slowly placed his hand on her hips. Then repositioned her on the board. "Bend your knees slightly, and keep your feel shoulder with apart." He said, as he hopped on the board with her. "Just like in skating, its all about positioning of the weight." He started off, to see how she reacted to his comment and his instructions so far.

She just nodded, "Yes, positioning the weight, that's right..." She put her hands on his. "Feel better now, Peyton?" She asked. Leaning backwards against him. She put a grin on her face. "Be honest, you wanted this since you stepped on the same transport as me," She winked. "Now, stop being so tense and give in to what you want now."

"No idea what you are talking about Sam, your a very attractive gal, but this is making me feel a little awkward." He said, what he left out, was this was also making him very aroused and stimulated. Stepped off the board. "Okay, show me the stance." He said, trying to get his attention off of her advancements.

She got off from the board as well. "That's strange, I am not getting awkwardness from you at all." She laughed a little. "So I lied, powerboarding is my hobby. I know how it works. I just made an excuse to get you close to me. See how you would react. You had your chance to kiss me, now let's go powerboarding."

Peyton grabbed her hand, and ran into the water, tossing the board next to him. "I had a feeling your testing me, Miss Sam, we have all day to work up to a kiss." He said, as started to slowly take off on his board.

Sam threw her board in the water as well and followed him. "You think your lips are getting on my today? As I said, you had your chance." She grinned.

Peyton watched as she took off on the board, he smiled. As he chased after her. "To quote A FAMOUS LINE, do you always chase men like me at warp speed, Sam?" He asked, wondering if he was the mouse and she was the gate in this little game of theirs. Peyton shifted his board over the waves, and trying to impress Sam with his fancy moves. He hoped it was working.

"Careful, Peyton, you don't want to cause an accident, now do you?" Said Sam trying to avoid Peyton. She tried to keep steady. " Peyton?" She tried to pull back but she lost her balance. She dropped off her board. She grabbed her board and lay on for a moment before trying to climb back on.

Peyton smiled as he jumped in the water. The warm water was pretty refreshing. He swam over to Sam. "Well this is fun, you want get some dinner after we are done riding boards?" Asked Peyton, as he hoped back up and laid on his board.

Sam was now also laying on her board. "Sure, Peyton. Let's head back. I think that is enough power boarding for now." She grinned.

The power boarded back to the shore line, and turned in the rentals. The started to walk out of the promenade and onto the beach together. The scene fades.
