[JM USS Shanghai] S1, E7: The Dragonian Code
Location: Dragonian colony
Timeline: 06/20/2394 1700 hrs
T'San had already contacted Orson and he agreed to meet in the Shanghai's sickbay. She went down to look for Kimoni. She needed to talk to her. It was now more than ever important to create a device that could control the Crescent. Lieutenant Aanyo showed the results of an attack. Orson was pretty powerful, but he never was capable of conflicting something that was going on with the Lieutenant. The internal wounds could only been caused by a most powerful Crescent. She suspected more powerful than Orson, maybe his grandmother.
She walked on to the party. People were still enjoying themselves. She looked around and found Kimoni sitting at a table with a few Dragonians, drinking. She walked to the table. "Lieutenant Jexen," she announced herself. "I would like to have a word with you, it is urgent."
Kimoni set her drink down lightly on the table in front of her and looked towards T'San. "Of course Doctor." She said, turning back to face her drinking partners, "If you'll excuse me a few moments." She added with a curt nod and stood up, moving away from the group, "What's the problem Doctor?"
"I was just called on board the Shanghai by Lieutenant Thorrin," T'San started. "Why has captain Anderson not send Kerja's mother to the Medical facility like I adviced?" She held up her hands up. "Never mind, the situation has deteriorated, and Lieutenant Thorrin thinks he can safe Lieutenant Aanyo. He said a mindmelt could help. I agree, but there are risks, even more than in normal conditions. I have asked Orson to come meet me in sickbay. The injuries Lieutenant Aanyo endured were inflicted to her by a Crescent. Captain Anderson made me swear not to speak to anyone about it, but if that is the power a Crescent can have, this would mean we are in much greater danger then I initially thought."
Kimoni nodded, deep in though. She knew how powerful Orson was, she'd seen it with her own eyes but she knew he was young, his power likewise. The thought of how powerful an Adult Crescent could be worried her. "I see." She said, almost in passing, "I think we need to careful here, the Crescent seem to be popping up more and more recently."
T'San nodded, "But we really need to know if we could develop the device Orson described. Do you think you could figure around the frequency the mental capacity of the Crescents? Preferably without harming Orson. I understand how you might feel towards, but he has been forthcoming this whole time, it would be a waste if we let that slip now. Also I do believe he is sincere in his actions."
"I've had some success with the numbers, using the scans we made of Orson we can probably come up with something to at least dampen Crescent Psionic powers... whether it will work or not is something we'd have to test in the field though." Kimoni replied, brushing her hair behind her right ear. "And if their as powerful as evidence would suggest... we may only get one chance."
T'San nodded. "Is there anything you need, lieutenant?" She asked. "I am hoping you would join myself and Lieutenant Thorrin, maybe you can make an observation on the procedure, and look at miss Aanyo's scans yourself?"
"I'd be happy to join you both, I'll need the data from Miss Aanyo's scans to refine any device we create and it's better if I'm there to get it rather then sending the data via Subspace. All I'll really need is the time to go over the data and create the device." Kimoni added.
"The new orders for the Shanghai and Ottawa are to regroup at the Starbase. I think I will travel back with the Shanghai as miss Aanyo is currently on board the Shanghai," T'San said. "I will personally take on her case again. I have prepared the base to take on Miss Aanyo. They are just better equipped to take care of her. I will set up a meeting with all parties involved in a few hours. I believe the Shanghai is scheduled to leave soon."
"That's a good idea, we should have everything we need at New Haven." Kimoni said, "Hopefully we can pull something together. The Cresent are starting to look more and more like a danger."
"Agreed, I will see you in a few hours in the Shanghai's sickbay." She then nodded to Kimoni and walked off the scene.
