Mission:
[ USS Shanghai] S1E8 Light of the past.
Location: Quarantine bay room 3
A sigh escaped the half Vulcans lips as she finally managed to get her shoulder wings through the freshly replicated medical blue jumpsuit. That had been a nightmare. Not being accustomed to having two sets of wings and a tail having to dress with her new additions had been a nightmare.
Sitting down at the chair she rubbed her hands against her face. How was she going to get out of this?
She'd looked over the initial data and it was like looking at someone else. She needed advice.
" Computer can you open a channel with Commander T'San?" She asked thinking her old boss may be able to help. At least she could bounce ideas off her.
T'San popped on the screen. She looked to T'Para. "Lieutenant, word of your mission has reached the base only a few minutes ago. How are you coping?" She didn't seem the slightest disturbed by T'Para's look. But she was more able to control her emotions than her husband and her daughter. Or even T'Para.
" As good as I can be given I now have multiple appendages I didn't have a few hours ago. " The hybrid replied with a sigh.
T'San looked over the sad looking hybrid. "Did you take blood tests? What were the initial tricorder readings?" She took out a padd to make some notes.
" Yes, we took a blood test. It and the tricorder readings and i look like a different person. I have more chromosomes added, more muscles, new bone structure. " The hybrid replied as she sent over a copy of the readings.
T'San looked at the information that was just send to her. "Most peculiar, I seem to have no explanation for these changes. And you experience no pain or discomfort? Other than the changes of course."
" Other than trying to figure out how to get into a fresh outfit no. Everything feels odd though. I guess my body not use to the extra bits." The hybrid responded honestly.
"That is understandable," T'San replied. "If you do experience pain or discomfort, please let me know. Have you have any idea what it was that caused this?"
" I have no idea. Everyone else looks like they're a chimera fo a hundred species yet I'm only had a few additions. Maybe it was because i was in armor or the fact i was already in the collective of light." The hybrid guessed.
T'San nodded. "But when you mentioned the collective of light, you never mentioned anything about physical changes. Is this a new attribute to the artifacts you mentioned, or is there an artifact in play you have no knowledge of?"
" One of the former colonists was holding some kind of orb. It shot out a beam which hit me and that caused this change. Most likely it some of there tech the only survivor we found had one of there pendants." The hybrid said as she sent over her suits camera footage.
"This is most unusual," T'San said as she looked at the footage. "Has Lieutenant Kimoni analyzed the footage?" She looked it over herself.
" She's analyzing it now. It looks like the figure holding it has some sought of its intelligence, unlike the others." The hybrid added.
T'San looked closer at the image. "That person? Do you think it's one of the colonists or a Crescent? Somehow I can't shake it that the Crescent know more about these occult technical stuff than we do and is using it against."
" Perhaps. We still know so little about them or how long they've been around. I can't really say who they were. If the head was more clear we'd have more info." The hybrid said zooming in on the shrouded balck face.
T'San nodded. "We still have that Crescent Prodigy on board. I will arrange for security to have her interrogated again. Maybe she can tell us a bit more about this. If she is who she claims she is, I can assume she knows something about these relics."
" maybe, but given how the crescent act as a people she may no nothing about it. It could be someone looking to gain an advanatage over her." The hybrid added.
T'San nodded. "I agree, but we have to look in to all angles for this one. Every information she can give us, is to our advantage. But I can tell you, this Crescent Prodigy is a good bargainer. Any information she got, she won't give up willingly."
" Well let us know if you find anything. We could do with some questions answered " The hybrid added.
"Understood," T'San replied. "I will contact you again if I know more."
