Mission:
[USS Ottawa] S1, E2: Empok Nor
Location: Science Lab 1
Timeline: 05/14/2394, 10:00
The Chromium/Inconel Tablet the away team found laid on the bench next to the Chromium/Inconel cylinder that have been found before. Kimoni scanned the tablet with her tricorder before placing in on the bench before moving closer to look at it with her own eyes.
"Computer Begin Laboratory Log. Subject, Chromium/Inconel Tablet found on New Bajor. Inventory number 236-B.
The Chromium/Inconel content of the tablet matches closely to inventory 236-A indicating the two may very well share a connection. Markings on the two objects don't seem to match up at the moment, although currently we have no Rosetta stone to be able to translate the markings themselves."
Kimoni ran her fingers over the tablet, looking for any markings that matched up with the cylinder. Finding nothing she picked up a multi-spectral scanner from a case on the floor next to her chair. She carefully placed the scanner over the tablet and watched as it lit up the Tablet.
"Beginning Multi-spectral scan of object 236-B."
She watched the scan as it progressed. She noticed sparks of red electricity arc between the tablet's markings, She quickly reached out to turn off the scanner, her fingers almost touched the button as the electricity burst out from the tablet and hit her full in the chest, throwing her across the room. Her vision blurred and went black as she hit the deck.
Bervag was sitting in the right hand chair, his usual place. He wondered what the gamma quadrant held next for the crew of the Juno. Just then he began to feel a weird sensation come over him. Similar to being punchy when you hadn't slept much. He was about to turn to the CO. To ask to be relieved to be checked out. "Sir." he managed to say before blacking out.
T'San walked out of her office and to the biobed Kerja was sleeping on. It was high time for her to wake up now. As she reached out to her she stopped as she felt a strange sensation over came her. She looked at her hand it blurred before her eyes and then she blacked out. She fell sideways to the floor as if she just had fainted.
Dan was in the kitchen of the mess hall looking over that evening's menu. His crew was outside cleaning up breakfast. Then he saw an officer standing outside his kitchen. He walked to the ensign who came to check if there was some breakfast for him left. "I could make you..." A strange feeling came over him. He held up the writing padd with his menu on it. He then looked at the ensign, his vision blurred out. He just saw the ensign reached for him as he blacked out and fell backwards on the floor.
T'Meela was walking trough a hallway on her way to school. She nodded to a passing crewman. She walked around a corner when she suddenly grabbed a bulkhead as she had the feeling as if the hallway was spinning around her. Unable to grab hold of anything, she slid past the wall and fell sideways on her back on the floor. Last thing she saw was the ceiling before she blacked out.
The sound of the heart monitor was at the front of T'para's mind as she and the team conducted the surgery. Removing and replacing organs was very routine, but even still they treated it as seriously as they could. The thump made her look up from her work as one of the nurses collapsed to the ground. As the second doctor went to check on her and collapsed as well the hybrids brain sprang into action. " Computer activate the EMH and ESH have them take over." She managed to bark out as the second nurse fell to the ground. Her own head was swimming and her eyelids felt heavy behind her eyes. As the two holograms appeared her legs gave out as she fell to the floor.
The chief of security grinned as he put another shot into the target on the firing range. Given he'd been on two away missions and not shot anything he needed to get it out of his system. As he was about to begin again his head started spinning. Trying to grab the barrier the lizard collapsed to the floor as his head felt like it was begin to split open. Before he could reach his badge his world went black.
Harry was at his chair thinking about making his way over to tactical station, he wanted to review the technical data from the tricorder scans of the Telpan System, when he suddenly felt weak. He fell out of his chair and started to to stumble towards the ground, and slowly pass out on the bulkhead, without getting a word out.
Avril was not sure how she felt about the command chair, she felt more comfortable in her own chair. Right now the senior staff was on the bridge, but that would change soon enough. Currently the Juno was still in orbit over Telpan System. She knew the first officer found a device with his away team, and they would all probably be called down to the science lab, she sort of hoped maybe Xalanth would be called to sit in the big seat.
Avril started to notice the room was starting to spin, she gripped onto the console , trying to keep her balance, her eye sight started to blur, and before she could ask for assistance, she was out cold.

Science Lab
Harry woke up but he was no longer on the bridge, he started to get up, but something did not feel right. He felt a strange sensation near his stomach. How long was he out? It was not hunger pains, and it was not really pain, but a strange sensation non the less. He started to look around the room. Everything felt strange, his body masses felt lighter, almost like a feather. He noticed he was is in the science lab. He called out, "How did I end up in here?" He asked, as he walked over to the terminal and noticed the reflection in the terminal monitor. He took a few steps back.
"What the..." He asked, as he moved his hand, and the reflection moved with him. He touched his face, but it was not his face. He quickly tapped on the combadge, "Captain Anderson to Lieutenant Jexen." He tried to tap on the combadge. But the badge just chirped at him.
He walked out of the lab and made his way to the bridge, running almost. He did not know it at the time, the body he was in, was the first to be affected, so naturally it was the first body to wake up. He ran onto the bridge. He noticed his body on the floor. He shrugged on his body, and noticed someone waking up, but who was in his body? He hoped it Kimoni. "Lieutenant Jexen, what happened down in sickbay?" He asked, not sure if it was Kimoni.
Bridge
Kerja yawned. She hadn't remembered the biobed being this hard when T'San had put her down on one the night before. She opened one eye and frowned. She was on the floor. Had she fallen off? But no, this wasn't sickbay. Kerja sat up and her mouth fell open. Not only was she on the bridge but she was in a Starfleet uniform. Her legs were longer than they usually were and her feet were huge. She looked down the rest of her body and gasped. "Oh Kosst."
"who are you?" Asked Harry as he tried to get the attention of his body?
"Kimoni?" Kerja asked. "My head is killing me and I don't have the right body. What's happening?"
"How did we switch bodies Lieutenant Jexen?" Asked Harry, a little confused how Kimoni ended up in body and she ended up in his.
"No, I'm not Jexen, you are." Kerja frowned at this. "I'm Kerja."
"No I am Harry Anderson, the Captain." Said the voice of Kimoni. But it was not the only voice he was hearing, it was clear the symbiont was not very happy with an intruder in the body of Kimoni.
T'Meela woke up as she heard voices next to her. She grabbed the chair that was next to her and pushed herself up. She felt herself a bit heavier then usual and not only that, something was wiggling inside of her. She looked down. It took her all the strength she had not to freak out. She turned over to where she heard the voice. "Captain, Lieutenant Jexen, what happened, why am I not myself. I was on my to school when I collapsed..."
T'San woke up at that moment and and found herself at the helm console. She immediately noticed something wrong. Her reflection wasn't hers. It was that of lieutenant Avril Taylor. And sitting at the helm would confirm that as she was listed as being the helms officer on duty. She turned around to speak to the captain and his first officer when she heard the first officer speak. "T'Meela?" She asked.
"Eh, yes," She replied. "It appears so."
T'San looked over to the captain and lieutenant Jexen. "What is going on here?"
"I don't know, but I will find out," said Harry.
Sickbay
Slowly, painfully, Kimoni opened her eyes. She saw the EMH knelt next to her, a quizzical look on his face.
"Doctor, are you hurt?" He said, reaching for her arm.
She slapped his hand away and skittered away. She could only hear her own thoughts for the first time in months. She reached for her stomach and found nothing. She jumped to her feet, with a speed and grace she didn't expect.
"WHERE IS JEXEN?" She shouted, Grabbing the EMH by the throat. Surprised not only by her own anger, but by the sound of her voice.
The EMH's body shifted 2 feet to the right, "Doctor I fail to understand your question and your actions, Lieutenant Jexen can easily be located by the computer, that doesn't require assaulting me."
"How did I get here, why was I on the floor and why do you keep calling me Doctor?"
She ran the past few minutes through her head, the artifact fired some sort of energy pulse at her, then she woke on the deck of sickbay.
"... oh no." She said as things cleared.
"Doctor T'san..." The EMH Started, Kimoni put up a hand and the EMH stopped talking.
Her tapped her commbadge, "Jex...T'San to Jexen... Where are you?"
A crash echoed through the sickbay as T'para exited one of the surgical bay. She looked very sick with large amounts of sweat on her forehead. " What the hell is going on" Xalanth hissed doing his best to speack through a mouth not his own.
Bridge
Harry heard the intercom went off on Jexen combadge. "Doctor, please hurry to the bridge." Called out Harry in Kimoni's voice. He assumed T'San his doctor was still his doctor. She called herself by name, and called out for the Kimoni,, maybe she knew what happened. If not T'San and Kimoni could figure it out.
At the sound of her own voice telling her to go to the bridge, Kimoni raced out of sickbay, no doubt much to the EMH's confusion. She ran to the nearest turbolift, suddenly really glad she'd spent so long walking the the ship's corridors.
She wasted time upon stepping into the lift, “Bridge.”
As soon as the lift doors opened, Kimoni stepped onto the bridge and straight over to her body.
“Who are you?” T'San's normally measured voice full of emotion.
A much calmer and reserved voice of Avril said, "I could ask the same thing to, you Doctor, or should I say, Lieutenant Jexen?" She put her hands behind her back. "I think we may have somehow switched bodies, I am not sure how far this extents, but I believe, Lieutenant you are in my body, my daughter is the first officer, the captain is in yours, his daughter is in his body and I am in Lieutenant Taylor's body. Now I think the question is where are the first officer, our helmsman and more importantly who else is effected? Getting all emotional will not resolve our issues. I think it's maybe a good idea if we all went to sickbay to work this out."
"I have no idea, but we need to find out." He started to say, but hearing the voice of Kimoni was very distracting to him plus the symbiont fighting him, was not making things any easier.
"Oh," Said T'Meela in Bervag's voice, "how does one cope with so many memories? I don't know which belongs to who, or which are mine. They are..very confusing."
"I hear ya kid, Jexen is not very happy, apparently he does not like me. You could have told me that Jexen was not a fan of mine." Said Harry, then realizing, there was no reason for Kimoni to ever tell him. "Sorry a little snappy," he said feeling a little aggression. That was a strange feeling. Harry was typically a womanizer and a lover.
Kimoni brushed her hair... T'San's hair behind her right ear
Well I guess that trait is mine not Jexen's. She thought to herself as she walked over to the Science station and sat down.
“Last thing I remember I was running a multi-spectral scan on the tablet we brought back from New Bajor. It created an electrical charge that hit me in the chest.” She said motioned towards her... the Captain's chest.
She spun the chair around to face the console, “Computer, display results of Multi-Spectral scan of Object 236-B.”
“Scan of object 236-B incomplete due to failure of Multi-spectral Scanner.” Came the computer's reply.
Kimoni sighed and turned back to the others.
“Something tells me that our current problem lies within that Tablet, though what or how is currently beyond me.”
Kitchen:
Meanwhile in a hallway, Dan woke up rubbing his head when he felt unusually more hair on his head. Also he felt smaller then he normally was. He touched his face and quickly looked around. He found a padd on the floor and picked it up. It was T'Meela's homework. She was actually doing great the teacher gave her some extra challenges. He got up and looked around. There was no one in sight. So he turned around and took a turbo lift. When in doubt, always check in with a doctor, that was what his wife always said. He must've hit his head too hard, he better had it checked out. And if he really was in the body of his daughter, he wanted to make sure, she was alright, or her body that is.
Avril woke up on a cold stainless floor plating. She slowly stood up, realizing she was no longer on the bridge. But down in the kitchen area. She called out, "Hello." But no one responded.
"Can anyone here me?" Again no one respond.
"Dan are you in the kitchen?"Asked Avril. She got no response.
"Computer located Chef Dan." Ordered Avril.
"Chef Dan is in main galley." Said the computer.
"Dan where are you?" She asked, looking for him. Wondering if he was out cold still or worse hurt.
She walked around the galley, when a pan caught her attention. The reflection showed Dan not her body. "What the hell is going on?" She asked, but no one responded.
"Computer locate Lieutenant Taylor location?" She asked, refusing to believe she was somehow trapped in his body.
"Lieutenant Taylor is on the bridge." Called out the Computer.
"No I am right here." She insisted outloud.
She tapped on the combadge. "Main Gallery to the sickbay, I am enroute to your location, I seem to be require assistance." Called out Avril, who was starting to panic a little.
Sickbay
Bervag came too, feeling like he'd just woke up from a large nap. He shook the cobwebs loose and got a face full of hair. That's weird he thought as he sat up. He noticed his surroundings. "Sickbay? What am I doing here? I was on the bridge." he said, in a voice clearly not his own. He was getting a little freaked. He caught a reflection in a nearby console. He walked over. The reflection was that of the CO's daughter. He almost fainted then.
"Multiple memories I can deal with. This might take some doing." he said. He muffled a Trill curse. "Bers to anyone." he said in Kerjas voice, which was strange for himself to hear.
Dan in T'Meela's body stumbled in to sickbay when he heard his own voice over the comsystem. He pressed the button on the com. "This is Chef Dan," When hearing his daughters voice he continued explaining, "Well, not exactly, I may be using my daughters body, who do I have the pleasure with that is using my body?" He immediately asked. He then saw Kerja waking up. "Whoever you are, just come to sickbay so we can sort this out, I will go and find my wife."
He walked over to the bio bed. "Kerja, I know this may sound strange," He said, trying to stay calm, "But I am chef Dan, I don't know what happened, but I woke up like this. Have you seen my wife?"
Xalanth still struggling to move and talk in a body totally different from his own stumbled over to one of the computers and collapsed into the chair. Reaching into one of the draws he pulled out a box of plasters and wrote down his own name before sticking it on his mates shoulder. With that, he tapped his comabdge though it took him several tries to actually hit it. " Lieutenant Xalanth." He asked as channel opened. " Whoever's in my body are you okay?" he asked.
" I'm okay darling. It's me T'para" His voice responded though like him they were having problems talking. " I'm making my way to sickbay."
Bervag got the hair out of his face and looked to see Dan standing there in T'Meelas body. Which of course added to the feelings he was experiencing. He took a deep breath and spoke, in Kerjas voice. "I just woke up too." he said, stating the obvious. "But I'm in the same boat as you It seems. Commander Bers speaking, Dan." he said. He took a deep breath and sat down on the biobed before he fell down. "I'm afraid I haven't seen T'San recently though."
Getting Kerja's body in a state of balance he walked over to the comm. "This is Commander Bers, speaking. To whoever has my body, are you alright?"
T'Meela heard Kerja's voice. She tried to focus. "Yes, sir," She replied in his voice. "You're body is alright. We're on the bridge. I think we are going to sick bay, where are you?"
"I'm in sickbay." he said in Kerja's voice. "With your father. He's safe in your body." Which sounded wierd as soon as he said that.
