Mission:
[USS Shanghai] S1, E5: Countdown
Location: Quarters of Harry Anderson
Timeline: 06/01/2394, 1100 Hours
Carly had moved in with her father, but she had been avoiding him. She had in her room. She took over the room, when Kerja moved out.
Carly wondered why her half sister left this man, they both called Dad, so quickly. So far daddy dearest, did not seem that bad.
He gave her freedom to do what ever she wanted. And she liked that. It allowed her to focus on her, and not have to express her feelings.
She hated the fact that adults alway wanted to talk about how they are feeling.
Carly used the alone time to draw, she layed on her bed, and was drawing a picture of her last home with her mother.
It was a small apartment, but it met her basic needs. She was sad that her Mom was being locked up.
It did not seem fair to Carly, and now she had to live with a man that she really never knew. And his other daughter, appeared to abandon him so quickly.
Kerja had the choice to return to her mother. But from what Carly heard, her mom was a bitch.
Jennette Wilda had her issues, but she was no control freak or bitch. She was a woman who made a lot of bad decisions. And now was paying the price for those decisions. And Carly, was paying the price for her mothers bad choices. Well that's how she felt.
She moped away in her room, laying on her bed, and drawing pictures. She would only come out of her room, when she knew Harry was out of the room.
She kept telling herself that she could make this work. She was trying to acclimate herself to life on the ship.
At some point she would try to open a dailogue with Harry, she was not ready yet.
She needed more time to process her emotions. She was lost and confused, and being forced into this situation.
For now, she was going to draw, and express herself through her paintings.
