Mission: [USS Ottawa] S1, E3: The True Way
Location: Risa
Timeline: 05/31/2394, 1500 Hours

Peyton had walked Sam down the aisle. She looked very pretty all dressed up. The risa air was a bit warm on this late spring day, but the scene was perfect. He was a little nervous walking down the aisle with an attractive lady. He wondered what people were thinking. After getting to their check point, he noticed his sister, already taking her position.

Emily noticed how adorable he brother looked in his tux. She looked around for her commanding officer, but he had just started to escort Ellie down the aisle. She smiled as she saw the happiness and nervousness coming from the face of Ellie.

Emily wondered how she would feel, when it was her turn to go down the aisle and get married. Would she be cool and collected like Ellie? She hoped so.

After all the pomp and pagentry, it was finally the moment of truth. Jazin stood there, In his dress whites. Ellie looked stunning in her dress. And the parties on either side. The happy couple stood before Commodore Martinez. He looked to John. Who looked great in his Marine dress. John held up the rings. Jazin breathed a sigh of relief

Domingo watched, as everyone gathered in their seats, he felt just as nervous as the bride and groom. At the moment all eyes were on Ellie, which made Domingo feel a little easier, on him. "Good afternoon, welcome to the union of marriage between Ellis Sheppard and Jazin Ijaan. This union is blessing and nine years in the making." He said, as he smiled at Ellie and Jazin.

Then Domingo called out, "Who presents this woman in marriage today?" Asked Domingo as he looked over to Gabe.

"On this wonderous day, I, Gabriel Sharpe, have that honour." Gabe said, bearly able to keep the pained look off his face at the colourful language he'd been told to use.

After Gabe his line, Domingo whispered to Ellie. "Please step forward to the groom." He said, with a big grin on his face. He loved seeing a smile on the face of Ellie.

Ellie stepped closer to Jazin and took his hands. She smiled at Jazin. She never felt so happy in her life.

"Will the audience please be seated." Ordered Domingo, as he watched everyone take a seat.

"Afternoon everyone, my name is Commodore Domingo Martinez, and I have been asked to preform the union of marriage on this beautiful late spring day." Started off saying Domingo, as he took a short breath before continuing on.

"Friends, guests and shipmates we are gathered today to bless this union, at this beautiful resort. We are all here to witness the marriage of Ellis Sheppard and Jazin Ijaan. Their marriage today is a beginning of a new journey. For the past nine years, they built up to this day. And we are blessed to witness this event." Domingo said.

"Ellie and Jazin have decided to proclaim their love in front of you all today." Said Domingo as he went on. "On their behalf, thank you for taking the time to celebrate with them. And accepting and recognizing your importance in their lives."

"Let us now establish ourselves in the consciousnesses of the universal loving presence, and expression of divine love that these two share. May their love and joy shine down upon on this is beautiful spring day. As we gather today for the union of Ellis and Jazin." Said Domingo, as he felt nervous, trying to get through his lines.

"We thank you for the abundant energy of love, and for the awesome gift of blissful marriage." He said, as he smiled at both at Ellis and Jazin.

"Ellie and Jazin have built a solid foundation of love and trust. They are a shining beacon for the crew of the USS Ottawa and for all of their family and friends. They have built this trust over the past nine years, and today in front of you. They are ready to complete their union." Said Domingo, as the audience looked on closely.

"Their marriage," he started off as he looked to Ellie and Jazin. "Your marriage like life itself, should be an ever expanding experience, each day should be an exploration of your love and commitment to each other."

"This union should be creative, and joyful. A suggestion to bring creativity and joy, is to do one thing each day, to give special pleasure to your lover, to your partner, to your best friend. With a practice of simple kindness and understanding in your marriage. Your hearts will expand, bless your friends with the love you share. By continuing to be a shinning beacon. That practices kindness." Said Domingo.

"Marriage is a mutual obligation. The essence of this commitment is the taking of the person in his or her entirety. As a lover, a companion, and a friend. For this With this in mind, Ellis and Jazin have asked to be united in marriage this day."

"Closer together don't you think?" Asked Domingo, thinking the loving couple was not close enough to say their vows. Which was coming up next. A few from the audience, giggled.

"Jazin do you take Ellis Sheppard to be your wedded wife? Do you promise to share with her your happiness, and sincerity from this day forward? To stand with her through times of great sorrow, and great joy? Building a life that jointly belongs to the two of you? And do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and respect her? Till death do you part?" Asked Domingo, as he focused his attention on Jazin.

"I do"

"And Ellie do you take Jazin Ijaan to be your wedded husban d? Do you promise to share with him your happiness, and sincerity from this day forward? To stand with him through times of great sorrow, and great joy? Building a life that jointly belongs to the two of you? And do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and respect him? Till death do you part?" Asked Domingo, as he focused his attention on Ellis.

Ellie looked to Domingo and then to Jazin. "I do."

"Jazin will share his vows with Ellis." Said Domingo, as he smiled at Jazin.

"Ellis. You're the marine that infiltrated my chest and stole my heart. And I wouldnt have had it any other way. I've propped you up, and you've done likewise. You know what they call that..support. Foundation. May we use that foundation to build on what we already have."

"Ellis will share her vows with Jazin." Said Domingo, as he smiled at Ellis.

Ellie looked to Jazin. At that moment she could only see him. She held his hand tighter and then said, "For nine years I sat on that command chair looking at you take every command I gave you. And whenever it got hard, whenever things got tough you took me alone in my office, and you gave me the courage to go on. Face my fears. And as a marine I never thought of show my feelings to my subordinates. But you seem to not care. And I should have said something, maybe, but I am happy I didn't. I am happy I allowed you in. And I am happy you're still here with me. To be more than our rank and our position." She pulled his hand close to her, while holding it with both her hands. "Stay with me forever."

"The rings, please." Asked Domingo, as he waited for John to walk up. He took the rings from John and placed them in the hands of Ellie and Jazin.

Domingo smiled as he looked to Jazin. "Please repeat after me, as you make promise to Ellie. "I Commander Jazin Ijaan, do promise this day, to love, honor and cherish you. As my wife, companion, and partner. I place this ring upon your hand, as a sign of my love and fidelity."

"I, Commander Jazin Ijaan. Do promise this day, to love, honor and cherish you. As my wife, companion, and partner. I place this ring upon your hand. as a sign of my love and fidelity." Jazin said, beaming at his wife to be.

Domingo smiled as he looked to Ellie. "Please repeat after me, as you make promise to Jazin. "I Colonel Ellis Sheppard, do promise this day, to love, honor and cherish you. As my husband, companion, and partner. I place this ring upon your hand, as a sign of my love and fidelity."

Ellie took the ring and put it on Jazin finger slowly as she said, "I Colonel Ellis Sheppard, do promise this day, to love, honor and cherish you. As my husband, companion, and partner. I place this ring upon your hand, as a sign of my love and fidelity."

"You may now kiss the bride." Said Domingo, trying to hold back the tears of Joy.

Jazin took Ellie in his arms. "I love you." he said before locking lips.

"Ladies and Gentleman it is my distinct honor to present to you the Mister and Misses Jazin Ijaan." Said Domingo as everyone stood up and started to clap for the newly wedded couple.

The couple started to walk down to the aisle, to meet up with their shipmates and friends. The scene starts to fade out.
