Mission: [USS Shanghai] S1, E5: Countdown
Location: USS Juno Bridge
Timeline: 06/01/2394, 1530 Hours

"Captain, were to late." Said Avril as she saw the pirate ship meeting up with the Crescent vessel. Her heart sank in her chair. That poor girl she thought, as she waited for Harry's orders. The USS Juno was closing the distance, that the pirate ship had, but they were to late to stop the exchange.

"It's never to late, continue on course." Harry said, as he started to panic a little. He looked over to Xalanth.

"Aye Captain." Avril said, but deep in her mind she was thinking they were to late. She knew she needed to be strong for the Captain. But it was hard. Kerja was just a child.

"Lieutenant Xalanth, do you have a weapons lock on the crescent vessel, they are not leaving here with Kerja." Harry said, as he tried to project a calm voice and failing horribly.

" Yes, sir weapons are locked and targeted. Ready to fire at your command." the lizard replied with a grin.

"Lieutenant Jexen, can you determine where on the crescent ship, they are keeping Kerja. Being the only half bajorean on the ship hoping you can get a bio sensor lock on her?" Asked Harry, a little concerned for his daughter safety. Who was he trying to fool, he was completely worried for his daughter's safety.

"If Kimoni can get us a lock, I can fly close enough to her position. But will still have to contend with the shields of the crescent vessel." Said Avril, trying to tell her captain. She was ready.

"Their shields are blocking most of our sensors, at this range I can get a reading on their hull, but not much more." Kimoni said, "I may be able to boost the signal strength but I'll have to route the sensors through the navigational deflector at which point they'll most definitely know we're here."

"They know we are here, make it happen, Miss Jexen." Ordered Harry. Timing was the essence. He did not want the Crescent to have Kerja longer than a couple of minutes. He feared for her safety.

"Lieutenant Xalanth, get a target lock on the sensor array, we need to hit it hard and fast." Harry ordered. It questionable order, firing on a ship that had his daughter on it. But he was really out of options. He needed the shields down if he was going to rescue his little girl.

The lizard nodded. " target locked sir."

The USS Juno started to come in weapons range of the Crescent vessel, that had tried to fled, but the USS Juno was to fast for them. Harry watched from the main viewer as Xalanth and Avril worked together with Kimoni to bring down the shields of the Crescent. All they needed was a few seconds. The USS Juno opened fire. Laying out a heavy weapons barrage of phaser shots and a spread of torpedoes.

"Status of their shields, Mister Xalanth?" Asked Harry, hoping they were down.

" Coming down.... now. " Xalanth said as a concentrated phaser blast punched a hole through the shields around the ships shields generator. A torpedo flew through said hole blowing the thing to pieces. " Sheilds down sir." he said with a grin.

"Lieutenant Taylor Attack Pattern Theta two." Called out Harry, as he continued to watch the Juno strike the hull of the Crescent vessel. He prayed that Kerja was not being hurt.

"Aye Captain." Avril said, as she piloted the USS Juno into another attack run. Xalanth and her gave the captain his window to get Kerja. She listened on to see how he was going o play this.

"Lieutenant Jexen begin beam out." Harry said as she started to think where on the ship would be a safe place for her. "Beam her directly to the bridge." Called out Harry, as he started panic a little.

"Beginning transport now." Kimoni replied, her voice calm as Kerja's form began to appear on the bridge, she grumbled slightly as she had some trouble with the lock mid transport but was able to power through it.

"We have her Captain. Though the Crescent were able to backtrace the signal, we was able to divert them, but we have intruders aboard."

The klaxons started to go off. Harry looked at at his tactical display screen on his chair. They were being boarded, deck 7. "Commander take a team down to deck 7 neutralize that boarding party." Ordered Harry.

He tapped his commbadge. "Security team to deck 7. Meet me at acess point gamma. Intruder alert. Full armament." he said, making a beeline to a nearby weapons locker. "Also, secure Mr De."

Avril continued the attack run, but she was a little worried that at the same time that they beamed over Kerja, a boarding party beamed over to their ship. She hoped Commander Bers team can neutralize them quick. Before anyone got hurt.

Harry did not countermand Bervag's order. Till they trusted Orson, he was a potential risk to the ship and to Kerja. He said his mission was to capture Kerja. And if this was a ruse, it worked. The Crescent had Kerja. Harry thought, maybe they could do a prisoner swap. Worse case scenario.

Things were not looking good at this moment, they managed to get the Kerja back, but not before the boarding beamed over. Giving their tactical advantage with physic attack, Harry worried if his team could stop them. The scene fades.
