Shocking Supprise

Location: New Haven

The Ottawa had docked with the station as Jason got a bag ready to disembark for some time off for a change and decided to go to the promenade. He exited the docking ramp and turned left heading for the nearest turbolift to the promenade when a voice came over the comms =A= Jason Bourne report to the shuttlebay=A=.

Rosie had been contemplating seeing her brother again after the long period of separation apart and didnt really know how to expect the meeting. She should have stayed a commanding officer but after the ship was mothballed she felt sad but happy to be moving forward. The Ottawa didn't really have a full time head of the science department but it was either this or the posting to a planetary outpost so Rosie chose the ship and it was better than seeing the same scenery every day.

Her gaze wondered to the front of the shuttlecraft as the Haven Colony came into view looking quite spectacular and pretty dwarfing New Haven the small spec in the distance getting closer and closer. Rosie could hear the shuttle being cleared to enter the airspace around the starbase and prepare for landing. New haven came into view as the shuttle lined up for landing at the starbase it was a rough ride here but its to be expected from a rookie at the controls.

Jason abruptly turned round and headed in the opposite direction towards the set of turbolifts that would take him to the shuttlebay. He waited for the turbolift to arrive as he stood there contemplating the next move when the doors whooshed open as people got out. He stepped in and asked it for the shuttlebay it slowly sprang to life as the doors closed and the sound of it starting to move as Bourne paced around figiting with his uniform all the while wondering how the reunion would play out or what sort of reaction he would receive from his sister. The lift started to slow then judder to a halt as the doors hissed open revealing an empty corridor leading to the bay as Bourne stepped out tugging at his uniform remembering why he hated wearing these things quite uncomfortable, restrictive and the boots didnt feel comfortable when the Renao walked plus the tight neck on them didnt quite help but he wanted to look smart for the reunion. He scooted around the corner passing an engineer with his foul mouth mutterings as they tried to do there job Bourne continued on turning the corner still faffing about with the uniform his brain was telling him stop it but his hands couldn't keep away and leave it be.

Rosie watched as the opening got bigger as the shuttle got closer and closer as the pilot made corrections and spoke to traffic control for docking clearance. The pilot acknowledged the controller as the shuttle passed through the shield and was marshaled into the assigned landing pad watching the crewman waving his sticks giving the pilot signals. The shuttle landed with a thud and a light jolt

Jason Stood waiting for the all clear to approach the pad watching the ramp being lowered trying to avoid the ground crew giving attention to the shuttle now it had landed. A figure from the shadows appeared as Jason nearly tripped on the hose on the floor not looking where he was going he slammed into the side of the shuttle he had been distracted by the figure standing there he didnt watch where he was going and then a voice spoke

"Are you ok" Rosie spoke

Jason got up from off the floor brushed himself off and walked around to the rear he stood there frozen gobsmacked at who was standing there and didnt move to offer help he just stood there frozen on the spot

"Is my brother gonna stand there like a lost child say something for christ sake" She spoke

Jason stood there looking at the figure from his past and his sister noiw waking down the ramp towards him

"Well arnt you gonna say something instead of being an inconsiderate prick its not like youve not seen me before for god sake you out rank me jesus christ grow up and act your age. Your acting so unprofessional standing there well..." She exclaimed

Jason was puzzled why was his sister trying to insult him

"Well its nice to see you again" Jason explained

Rosie looked at his brother confused "Is that all your dumb ass brain can say" She responded now standing infront of him waiting for a response from what she could describe as her brain dead useless brother

Jason decided to hug his sister he was now back in the room alert and alive it had been quite a shock seeing Rosie standing there

"So what you doing here exactly" Jason asked

Rosie shoved the padd in his direction and waited for a response to come out of her brother for a change

"Ah science chief aboard the Ottawa nice shall i take that suitcase from you and its good to see you again and quite a shock seeing you there took me by surprise" Jason explained

Rosie handed over the suitcase as the two of them headed towards the exit
