Mission: [JM New Haven] S1 E2 A New Haven
Location: Shanghai Sickbay
Timeline: MD001 1100 hrs

T'San looked at Terra. The case had been puzzling to her ever since she was brought back on board. It was her hope that they could bring her back today. For Kerja, as her father was sent away and she needed a parent now more than ever. She looked around the sickbay as she waited for everyone invited to join in with her.

Kimoni stepping into the sickbay, tricorder in one hand and a PADD in the other, She nodded to T'San as she p[laced the PADD on the side. "Any change in Miss Aanyo's condision?" She asked, Pretty sure she knew the answer but she felt like the question should be asked anyway.

T'San silently shook her head as she waited for the others to joine the.

Thorrin had just received word that the Captain would be transferred. Well he got that word not from the Captain he was not answering Thorrin's hails. So without the man aboard the Shaghai it fell to Thorrin to keep an eye on Kerja. There was also the situation with the girl's mother to deal with. Thorrin arrived at Sick Bay, his face pinched into a tight expression. The weight of command of this vessel was taking it's toll on the El Aurian. "Commander T'San, am I correct that you believe we can wake the Lieutenant today?"

"If by believe you mean, that I believe you, then yes. We're just waiting for young master De,"T'San explained.

Thorrin nodded he stepped to the side so the medical teams could finish the preparations. If T'San felt that it could be done today, then it would be done today.

The doors swished open and a young sman wearing sunglasses walked in. "You called me?" He said.

T'San walked over to Orson. "I know you do not know much about how your powers work, but I truly believe, that each time you use them, you remember more and more about them." She then turned around to Terra and pointed to her. "I think she was attacked by your grandmother. She used a very powerful form of telekinesis. I have never seen anything like it. Aside from all her internal wounds that could only be inflicted from the inside out, but there is nothing inside that could have caused it. She has no outside wounds, or any entry wounds for something entering." She gently took Orson's hand without moving or twitching her face. "I suspect you have the same powers as your grandmother, and I also suspect if you focus on her injuries you will know what your grandmother has done and that you are able to heal her." She fell quiet as she continued. "I wanted to attempt a mind meld with Lieutenant Aanyo, but her injuries are to bad, I do not think I could do that. So after consideration, and with much less risk I want to attempt a mind meld with you, help you remember."

Thorrin cocked an eyebrow in response to T'San's speech. He glanced over at the bio bed and Aanyo's life signs. It seemed to him that if they were going to do this it would have to be soon. The Lieutenant did not seem to have much time left. He decided to not mention anything as he turned his attention to the new arrival. Thorrin sized the boy up. The boy must be talented, to drag that much out of a Vulcan. If i did not know any better I would think that T'San is pleading with him. Thorrin thought.

"T'San, are you sure this is a good idea? The last time you two linked minds it didn't go so well." Kimoni replied, "And given Orson's lack of training in his abilities, you could easily make things worse." She shifted slightly on the spot, unhappy with the way things were building up, while the plan had some chance of success it, in her opinion had much more chance of going wrong and one false move could result in Lieutenant Aanyo's death.

T'San turned to Kimoni a moment. "Last time we did not link. The last time I allowed him to use his mental ability to to control me. This time I will be linking to him. My mind is disciplined. Giving him that discipline, even for a short time, could help him do this."

Orson flashed a look towards Kimoni, sad at the lack of trust. "I would never hurt anyone on purpose." He said. 'I only want to help. And T'San is right. I did only as she asked."

"Do you want to help us now too?" T'San asked Orson. He nodded. She took a deep breath and then put her hands on his face. She closed her eyes. "My mind to your mind. Your thoughts to my thoughts." She could sense he had opened his mind to her.

***Flash back Orson***

T'San opened her eyes as she stood next to Orson. They were in a dark room. The room wasn't that big and there was only one window, and one of the many moons of Lunar Prime was visible through the window. The room had one chair and a desk.

Orson could tell this was Amilla's throne room. He spend a lot of time here with Amilla.

Suddenly Amilla walked in to the room and stood behind Orson. "Orson dear," She almost whispered. But when T'San looked to her she realized, Amilla didn't exactly speak to him verbally, she spoke to him telepathically. She stroke her finger gently over his cheek and then walked around him.

Amilla looked to him with narrow eyes and puffed up lips. Are you ready to try again? She then walked to her chair and took of her cloak and put it on the chair. She put her hands in her sides. "Now Orson!" She called to him. "Hit me again."

"Yes, Grandmother!" he said, he let loose. Orson, ever eager to please gave it his all. He knew what Amilia did to weaklings.

A little unsuspected, as Amilla hadn't expected this to be so powerful. Orson had thrown Amilla across the room against the wall. She got up, but seemed harder. She tried to hide it and wanted to laugh it away. She put her hand in front of her mouth and coughed. She looked at her hand.

T'San followed Orson's look. Amilla held up her hand, but T'San also saw the blood dripping down from her lips. Orson beat her? Was the first thing she thought.

Tag Orson (Orson being all Carrying will probably want to heal Amilla.)

"Grandmother. Are you al right?" he said, Coming over. I only did what you asked he said, telepathically. slightly fearful of reprecussions. "Let me heal you?"

As Amilla wiped the remaining blood from her lips, she noticed Orson had healed her. But that wasn't what had worried her in that moment. T'San couldn't tell what Amilla was thinking, but she reached out over to Orson and put her index finger on his head. There was a flash...

***End Flash back***

T'San let go of Orson as she was looking at him. The flash somehow wiped her mind. She looked to Orson. And then she turned around to the people around her. Somehow none of the faces said anything to her. She walked away from them and then pushed a cart over with medical equipment. "Hello?" She said in a shy voice.

Thorrin noticed the immediate change in T'San and two emotions hit him. The first regret for asking the Vulcan to do this. The other was anger at Orson, he must have done something. However, Thorrin employed so much restraint that a Vulcan would have been proud of him. "Mr Orson what has happened to the Commander?" Thorrin motioned for medical staff to back away from T'San at least for the time being.

"It seems that she, in the course of the meld experienced a memory from my past. One that even I was unaware of until this moment. My theory is that my emotions in that moment, as well as the attack I performed on my grandmother had a direct result on the meld. The effect should be temporary im sure, but my best inference would be that she has gained my shyness for the time being." Orson rattled off

Thorrin ran his hand through his hair as he sighed, it seemed that this situation was going from bad to worse and doing it quickly. He turned toward one of the nurses. "Please see to Commander T'San. Now Mr De can you cure the Lieutenant without Commander T'San?" Thorrin did not want to pull the plug on this, but he would not lose one person to save another.

"I have no reson to suspect otherwise." Orson said. Orson put his right hand on the patient and his left on his head. Concentrating, his right hand began to vibrate ever so slightly as his left massaged his temple. Suddenly there was a almost inperceptible flash of light.

""Ive done all I know how to do." Orson said, breathing heavily. "excuse me, I must sit. Equivalent exchange. To add strength, you must lose some. But she will be fine."

Thorrin watched as Orson was taken to a bio bed and given a seat. His eyes darted to the Lieutenant's bio read outs and to his amazement they were on the way up. It seemed that Orson had done it. He turned to one of the nurses and asked her to keep an eye on the Lieutenant and send regular updates to him. Thorrin then turned his attention toward T'San. "Commander are you okay?"

Kimoni gently placed her hand on T'San's should, resisting the urge to shoot Orson an 'I told you so' stare.
"Hello." She said softly, "My name is Kimoni, I'm here to help." She gave T'San a smile and slowly attempted to take her hand, "Would you like to sat down?"

Thorrin opened his mouth again to speak, but he caught himself. His thoughts drifted briefly to something one of his Academy professors said. 'Sometimes the best thing someone in Command can do is to sit back, and say nothing. Just let the crew do what they do best.' This seemed like one of those times, so he simply stood there and kept one eye on the Lieutenant's bio readings and the other on T'San.

T'San looked up to Kimoni. "Ki...Kimoni." As she looked to the Trill science officer, somehow her telepathic brain connected with the symbiont inside Kimoni. She blinked a moment. "Yes, Lieutenant Jexen." She straightened her back. She looked around the room as to orientate a little. Slowly the memories returned a bit. There was still something from the mind meld present. "Please don't be angry with Orson, it's not his fault. His memory was wiped by his grandmother." She walked to the bio bed. "I am a bit disturbed by your presence, I think it will subside soon." She walked to Orson. "You did well, Orson." She looked to Terra and then back to Orson. "You beat her. You beat your grandmother. She wiped it away, because she is afraid of you. You are her biggest threat."

"Uh..thank you." He said blushing, his personality returning. "I only did what I could do." He said. "I'm sorry if I hurt anyone." He said, looking at T'Ssn, then Kimoni.

Thorrin stepped toward the group, slightly relieved now hat the Commander was becoming herself again. "So, then is it safe to say that the Lieutenant will make a recovery?" He turned to Orson "What pray-tell exactly did you do in there?"

T'San looked to Thorrin. "Commander, we relived a memory of Orson that his grandmother supposedly wiped away. But I do not think she is powerful enough to wipe his memory. She merely suppressed it. Not only did it reveal his true potential, it also revealed the enemy commander's weakness." She turned to Orson as well. "He is able to defeat her."

Thorrin glanced at Orson. "Care to enlighten us?"

"My grandma. Did I just say grandma? Well, anyway. We were fighting and she asked me to hurt her. I reached out with my mind, giving everything I had and it hurt her. I'm as surprised as you are."

T'San walked over to Terra and began scanning her. She then took a hypspray and set it. She administered it. She then nodded. "Lieutenant Aanyo will be fine. She should be waking up any moment. Could be in the next ten minutes, or it could be in the next 10 hours. That is hard to tell, it is up to her now. But from what I know about her, Miss Aanyo is a tough person. I do not think think it would be long."

She then walked away from the biobed. She looked from Thorrin to Kimoni. "Commander, Lieutenant. We should confer in private about this new information with our Commanding Officers."

Thorrin nodded. "Agreed, however, I have one final order. As soon as Lieutenant Aanyo is capable of receiving visitors. Have Cadet Aanyo report to her under my orders." He smiled and turned to leave.

T'San nodded. "Of course, commander."
