Mission: [USS Shanghai] S1, E1: So it Begins
Location: Interrogration
Timeline: MD002 1000 hrs

"Hello," yelled out Tera, as she pounded her fist against the wall. It felt solid. Where was she, she wondered? If this was an interrogation room, it was different than anything she had seen before. No one answered her call at first.

Ten minutes had passed. (1010)

"Name, Rank, Position," Called out Siltar Le from a hidden speaker in the room.

"Lieutenant Junior Grade Tera, with Starfleet, I am a scientist, why have you abducted me?" Asked Tera, hoping this would be a two way dialogue. She had no idea things were just getting started.

"What is your field of study?" Asked Siltar Le.

"Why am I here, show yourself," demanded Tera.

Siltar Le looked to Amilla De, who had just walked into the room. "High Chiefton, you honor me with your presence, how can I serve the will of sephira today?" He asked. She was the holy ruler of Sephira, she was feared, revered and treasure o her people. A lot of the crescent citizen's believed she possessed the spirit of Sephira.

"Siltar Le, you honor Sephira, your family and me. What have you brought me today?" Amilla asked. She walked to the room. "Is this their leader?"

"No this is some Lieutenant, but sure has pure rage, this lady of rage is Tera, she has the fighting spirit of Sephira, but her katra is not cleansed and distains her soul, and the vision of the sephira. I was about to probe her mind, you are welcome to observe, or take the lead, my Chiefton." Said Siltar Le.

Amilla looked at the lieutenant. "She is of the people on the planet, but she is also part of something bigger. Yes, she has a passionate rage, I would like to see how deep that passion goes." She walked to the entrance of the room and put her hand on the door. "I'll handle this one, Commander. Do we have their leader?"

With a grin, he gave a twisted smile. "We do High Chiefton, a Minster Clora."

"Then you'll take care of their leader." She turned to the door where her hand was still resting on. The door opened on her telepathic command. She walked in and the door closed immediately behind her.

Tera realizing that this would be her prime moment to strike at her. She cried out in a war cry style fashion. She lunged towards the High Chiefton.

As the lieutenant lunged at her Amilla just raised her hand and stopped her in her tracks. "Have a seat," Amilla said calmy but coldly. She pulled a chair from the shadows with her other hand before letting her go. She calmly waited for her reaction and the questions she would throw at her.

"Who are you?" Asked Tera, wondered who she was. She needed to learn how to defeat this very powerful leader that apparently had telekinesis abilities.

"It is only fair that you know who your new master is," said Amilla, "I am Amilla De, High Chiefton of the Crescent, Holy leader of Sephira and Chiefton of the Socra tribe. And you are..." Amilla probed the lieutenant's mind before answering, "Lieutenant Tera Aanyo, Bajoran, but your rank comes from... Star Fleet. And there is something else..." She was scanning her mind again. "The Federation of planets." Amilla closed her eyes for a second. "You're trying to hide something from me. What is it?" It remained quiet on the other end. Amilla grinned. "Not what, who? Someone special to you? Someone more important then yourself. It must be a child." Amilla closed her eyes again. "Yes a daughter!" She raised her hands again as if she could sense the lieutenants rage but she didn't use her powers yet. Just the gesture was enough. "Don't worry, Lieutenant, I wouldn't harm your daughter, wouldn't dream of it. I am just here to safe her. And you."

"Favors from tyrants, always come at a high cost, I would prefer to die, you mention my daughter again or threaten to hurt you and I will find a way to kill you. Now that aside, why did you attack my people?" Asked Tera, not sure who this lady was, and what she wanted with Tera and New Bajor.

Amilla grinned. "My commander was right, such rage, such passion. Very well, then. Like I said, we are the Crescent, and the planet you colonized and named new Bajor belongs to Sephira. You have no rights or claims to it. We attacked you to figure out your power and your strength. We also need to cleanse this planet and this galaxy from all who oppose the Sephira. You belong to Sephira now. You and your child. And you will learn to love her and respect her. Or die trying yes, but I would prefer you to live." Amilla stepped a few steps backwards to the door. "I hoped you learned all you can about me and my powers, they were a gift from Sephira. Let's hope you're star fleet comes here soon, we can't let you have all the fun, now can we? I've learned all I need to know. I will have some refreshments brought to you." She placed her hand on the door again and she walked out backwards before it closed again. She looked in from the window to the lieutenant to see how she would react.

Tera was trying to keep her composure, it was clear to her that this religious zealot was up to something. Something she was not, telling her. Tera wished she knew what it was. For the moment though this Amilla person was in control. She sat in the room. Trying to think about nothing, but it was hard not to think about anything. She then remembered a lesson she learned at the academy, to focus on a singular object. Tera desperately searched her memory and remembered a tree, she saw earlier today.

She closed her eyes, and began to focus on the tree in her mind, trying to down out the fact she was a prisoner of war, she needed to hang onto hope. She sat in her chair, with her eyes closed thinking of the tree. Thinking of the branches and the extension of mini branches with leaves on them. There was nothing really exciting about this tree, but she was trying to broadcast in her mind that it was important to her. She was hoping in a small way to keep this Amilla person out of her mind.

Amilla grinned at the distractions the lieutenant was throwing up for her benefit.

"How dare you take us prisoner, your actions today are a declaration of war," Said Clora as she was trying to wiggle her way out of her binding of ropes.

Siltar grinned. "We have done no such thing, you serve the will of Sephira, a rapture is coming, your just a subject, a test, every race we find, every technology we examine, brings us one step closer to finding her." Said Siltar, as he walked in a full circle around Clora.

"I serve no one, I am not so weak and feabile mind, such as yourself." She suggested, allowing her anger to consume her, she was hoping to through him off of his game as well.

"Small words, from a small person, trying to leash out at the things you do not know, how simple minded of a creature you are. You have lost your way to Sephira. We will help you find, your path." Suggested Siltar as he started to probe the mind of Clora.

"You serve a false god, a deity, do not worry my child, we will cleanse the filth from your mind, you will be reborn in the light of Sephira." Proclaimed Siltar, as he continued to probe her mind, trying to learn more about her.

"The prophets will guide me, your brainwashing techniques will be pointless, you may be able to read my mind, you can sense, I will fight you, with every last ounce of my being." Said Clora, trying to get under the skin of Siltar.

Siltar was calm and collected and had the upper hand. He was a little arrogant, and had Clora, right where he wanted her to be. Trapped, scared and alone. "Sephira will cleanse your thoughts, and your planet will be raptured in the name of Sephira, you will not prevent us." Suggested Siltar with a twisted smile.

"The Dominion, once thought they could defeat the Federation, what makes you think, your race can?" Asked Clora.

"Who is the Dominion? "Asked Siltar, wondering why the Dominion, had disappeared suddenly. Intel suggested they went into a state of isolation. But the Dominion intelligence was not his primary focus.

Clora tried not to laugh, the enemy fled New Bajor within minutes of arriving with her and other captured Bajorans of New Bajor. "What do you want from me?" Asked Clora, she was done trying to play coe with him, let's get this interrogation started she thought.

"Give me information I seek," he demanded as his mind probes began to attack Clora directly, he wanted to learn everything he could about this so called race, the tone she used, made them sound important. He started to pour through the data. He started to shift through her mind, and he saw an image of a woman who looked a lot like, "Sephira," he cried out with joy. He could tell that Clora was trying to resist him. "You dare fight the gods." Proclaimed Siltar, who wanted to snap her neck for fighting the gods.

Siltar left the room immediately. He walked over to the High Chiefton.

He walked into the room. "I apologize for the interruption, the minister has information on Sephira." Said Siltar, taking a knee and bowing to the high chiefton, in a sign of respect. He hoped Amilla would show him mercy, he felt his interruption was just and found.

Amilla slowly turned her head towards Siltar. She then moved to him and narrowed her eyes as she pierced trough his mind. "Sephira!" She whispered. "But wait, there is something you missed." She turned back to the window looking in to the room with the lieutenant. "Again Star fleet, the Federation of planets....the Alpha quadrant?" Amilla suspected they both knew more then they were letting on. "Commander, there is more, a passion, it's so deep. It rivals our own. And something very important. It's not about the child." She looked back to him. "The Dominion can wait for now, I want you to dig deeper, find out what you can about this Star fleet, this Federation and this Alpha quadrant. And their spirits, because I am certain that is the information we need right now."

"As you command, my Chiefton." Said Siltar, as he bowed and left the room. Grateful that Amilla did not punish him for interrupting. The scene starts to fade.
