Location: Mess Hall
Timeline: 06/01/2394, 1430 Hours

Location Mess Hall

Carly left her quarters, she had a small case in her hand. Something she picked up on Empok Nor, by a trader. She grabbed a small case of Garanian bolites, and she was ready to have fun, and make her presence felt on the ship. She needed to find her first victim. She walked into the mess hall and noticed, she missed the main rush, but she noticed a science officer sitting at the table, she walked over to Kimoni's position. She smiled as she said. "Hello I'm Carly Wilda, what's your name?" She asked. She took a seat next to her Kimoni, and started to hold the small box under the table so Kimoni could not see it.

Kimoni turned to face Carly and gave her a smile. "I'm Kimoni Jexen, pleased to meet you." She said, placing her cup on the table next to her meal.

Carly smiled as she placed the box on the seat, she waited a moment, listening to Kimoni introduce herself. "Pleasure to meet you, what do you do on this ship?" She asked, trying to keep the ruse up long enough to get the box in position.

"I'm the Ship's chief science officer, why do you ask?" Kimoni replied, interested as to why this random girl was questioning her. She didn't know the girl but then she wasn't totally up on who all the children on board were, having only really met T'Meela.

"I'm new here, just trying to learn who everyone is." She said as she stood up. And left the box open at the seat. As she said while walking away. "Nice to meet you." Carly walked away, knowing full well what she had done.

"Have a good afternoon Carly." Kimoni replied as the girl stood up.

The garanian bolites started to make their way to Kimoni, causing a reaction once they touched her skin.

Kimoni felt a sudden itch on her arm, quickly spreading to cover her whole body. She did her best to get up and move out of the room but before she could get halfway out she was scratching like crazy, the itch so intense. She knew people in the mess hall would be watching her, especially now her skin was quickly changing colour from blue, the green then gold. Almost as soon as it started, the itching stopped.

"Well that was... different." She said as she walked out of the mess hall. "Jexen to sickbay, I've just had a... episode in the mess hall, i'm heading over for a check up."

Bervag walked in ad Kimoni was walking out, somewhat hurredly. "What was that all about? he thought as he entered the mess hall. He walked over to a replicator and got a cheeseburger. He was in a "quick and easy" kind of mood then. "Oh good, beat the busy season." He laughed as he sat.

Location Corrdiors

Carly had left the area, and was hiding behind a intersection when she saw Kimoni storm past her. Carly giggled silently as she continued to flea the area. She noticed a Jeffries tube entrance, and decided to go exploring. And stay out of sight for a little bit. She started to crawl around, taking in the moment. Oh that was fun she thought, as she started to go down the tube, three levels and got out of the tube around the arboretum. She took a seat on the bench, and observed the scenery.

Carly had no idea that Kimoni went to sickbay. Nor did she care, she was tired of being ignored. She was already thinking about her next course of action. She wanted to get her Father's attention, and she felt this was the best way to get his attention, was to make him notice her. She was no goodie goodie. She was mother's daughter, and right now she was sitting at the arboretum waiting for Kimoni's next move.

Location Sickbay

Kimoni stepped inside the mostly empty sickbay and saw T'Para on duty. She walked over to the Vulcan, "Good afternoon Doctor I was hoping you could run a few quick scans after an incident in the mess hall.. no doubt half the crew know about it by now." She said with an annoyed sigh

" Sure just take a seat." The hybrid said as she powered up the scanner. It didn't take long before it identified what the cause was. " Ah someones running around with garanian bolite." She said calmly.

Kimoni let out a another annoyed sigh, "Seems we have a prankster on board." She said, "And given the timing i'm fairly sure I know who it is."

" Yup. I'll head down to the mess hall and double check. Perhaps she's still around." T'para replied as she quickly replicated a small bottle. " Rub this on the skin and it should remove any remaining little buggers."

Location Mess Hall

T'para was annoyed at having been called out of sickbay to investigate this. She had a good idea at what had happened, but she still needed to check. With a tricorder in hand she scanned the area Kimoni had said it had happened. Sure enough, it showed up as clear as day garanian bolite. " Whoever dropped these you can come out now." She called with the tone that only a mother could use.

Dan was in the kitchen cleaning and getting ready for dinner, which was in a few hours. As he was cleaning his counter he saw T'Para was making scans of the tables in the messhall. He walked over to her and asked, "Excuse me, doctor, what is going on?"

" Nothing you need to worry about doctor. We just have a prankster on board and i'm trying to find her. Just making sure all the garanian bolite are gone." The hybrid replied calmly.

"Ehm, Doctor, that is all fine of course, but this white coat indicates that I am the chef not a doctor." Dan grinned. "And garanian bolites. This prankster is good. Looks like someone needed some attention. Have you any idea who it could've been?" He looked at the table. "Lieutenant Jexen sat here earlier, see sounds more like a victim then a culprit."

" Sorry Dan. It's been a long day. Jexen in sickbay and i think i have a good idea who it is." The hybrid replied.

Location Corridors, 2 decks down

Carly was just getting started with her antics. She grabbed a small vile from her pocket. It was filled with glitter. She went over to an air vent. She smiled as she opened the vile and injected the glitter into the air vent. It had a light aroma flavor mixed into it.

She giggled, as she started to walk away. So far no one had caught to her. She thought for a moment, this was going to be to easy. She hoped not. she hoped the security team on this ship was up for a good chase.

She left the air vent, and started to walk over towards the turbolift, her next stop was the arboretum. She waited to see how long it was going to take the security team to track her down.

Carly continued to head towards the arboretum. She was a little surprised that Security had not caught on to her just yet. She assumed, they would be reviewing camera footage of the mess hall, and talking to the trill science officer.

Location Sickbay

Kimoni gave it a few minutes thought before she decided what to do, the prank had been harmless but who knew how long that would last. She nodded to herself and tapped her Commbadge, she could try to sort things herself or contact Security. She knew what she had to do.

"Jexen to Xalanth. Sorry to bother you but it seems we have a prankster onboard the ship, one Carla Wilda, assuming of course she gave her real name."

" Okay, Jexen I'll handle this." The lizard replied as he put his weapon back in the armoury before heading to the brig. " Computer please beam Carla Wilda into holding cell 1." He said into his combadge.

Location Brig Detention Center

Carly was beamed directly to the brig, she started to think to herself, what blow hearted security officer was to afraid to chase her down the old fashion way. She did not like being locked up. "Hey officer dumbass, or crewman dumbass you know its illegal to beam someone to the brig without probably cause right?" She said looking at some low ranking dumb ass, about to be demoted for this blunder.

The crewman was just following the orders of his superior. He did not say a word to the big mouth little girl in the brig cell. Instead he waited for Xalanth to arrive, to handle this situation. He knew that Carly was the captain's daughter, and wanted nothing to do with this.

Xalanth could hear her arguing with his man before he even stepped through the doors. He nodded to excuse his man before he picked up a chair and put it down in front of her cell. He said nothing as he just stared right at her unblinking.

Carly noticed the very tall gigantic looking lizard man, taking a seat in front of her cage. "Are you here to eat me? Or your here to join that dumbass, I will make room for the two of you to join me. You know its illegal to detain someone without probable cause?" She said, noticing he was not saying anything, she let her mouth get her in more trouble. "Or do you get off on imprisoning little girls?" She asked. She was about to go on, when she noticed he shifted his body. She waited a moment to see if he would say something.

Xalanth said nothing his eyes unblinking as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a padd and started to jot down some notes. He then slid the padd back into his pocket before returning to his stare. " Do you know how much trouble you're in?" he finally said coldly.

"Lets illegal seizure, questioning a potential target without representation of parents, I would say your in a lot of trouble. But then I am not a lawyer, we will have to wait and see what they say." She said, feeling safe inside the cage. She could tell the lizard man was trying to scare her. And this was not the first time she saw a cell, typically people would tell her she was arrested and on what charges.

" You're a smart one aren't you. Not your first time in a jail I take it. You do realise on a federation starship you can be detained if you're endangering ships personnel?" Xalanth replied calmly.

"I did not know a big tall strapping lizard man like yourself was afraid of me. That amuses me, I decided I like you." She said with a sarcastic grin on her face. She was doing the same to him, that he was doing to her. Sizing him up.

" I'm afraid of what you're actions will do. Do you know what you're little bugs can do to some of the crew on this ship? " Xalanth replied calmly.

"You have a bug problem?" She asked, knowing that he could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt it was her. She was careful to hid her tracks. No way the cameras would have picked up on that. She smiled for a half second, then frowned. "so you beamed me in here to keep me clear of the bugs?" She asked, teasing him. Basically saying without saying, I did it, now prove it.

" You were seen in the mess hall distracting the victim, you're DNA is on the seat and you're fingerprints will be on the box. " Xalanth replied the same calm in his voice.

"A box?" She said, as she pretended to remember. "I do remember a box being there, I could have simply moved it out of the way. That's how my finger prints could have been on it. But who placed the box on the seat?" She asked, trying to play cat and mouse with a big gigantic lizard man. She was now having fun, and no longer bored.

The lizard said nothing as he tapped a few buttons on the padd. A holo vid began to play behind him showing the promenade of the empok nor. A grin spread over the lizards face as a very familiar human appeared and walked to one of the traders. Pointing out a particular box she then handed over a credit chip before pocketing the small box and walking off. " Now." Xalanth said as he closed the holovid. " Do I need to show anything else?"

'Perhaps you should, you seem to think you are justified for detaining someone without due process and without the presence of her parents. This is amusing." She said, thinking okay you want to play hard ball lizard man, its on. She had a smile on her face too.

" Starfleet law page fifty-seven paragraph thirteen. Any passenger or civilian caught using substances harmful to any member of the crew can be detained to prevent harm to the crew. " Xalanth replied calmly as he pulled the box from his pocket. " You know these things are harmful to at least seven members of the crew. One of them can be lethal."

"A box is lethal to several members of the crew, curious what type of breathing requirements they have? Do you know on my home world we need wood, which a lot of boxes are made out of, we need the trees that make that wood. We need those trees to breathe. For now on I will only buy plastic boxes, great talk. Thanks for letting me know we have crew with wood allegories!" She said, playing it off. Thinking to herself that this was amusing.

Xalanth sighed as he stood up. This was going nowhere. " You really are something. How you're related to the captain is beyond me. You're in there for thirty hours for dealing with biological substance hazardous to seven members of the crew. That includes doing any school work you have to do." He said as he headed for the door.

"So were going to forget due process, or evidence fact finding. Wow surprise the captain allows this. When are you going to notify my father that I am being illegally detained in 40 hours?" She asked, trying to rub the wound in more. She planned on filing a wrongful imprisonment with the first officer, as soon as she was released.

" Computer mute first cell and switch of the lights." Xalanth said as he left the room. There was a flick as the cell energy field switched to blocking out the sound and the lights to the room went blank. He tapped his combadge. " Xalanth to the captain. Your brat of a daughter is in holding cell one can you please come and collect her. She's been dropping Garanian bolite all over the ship." He said as he sat down in the brig office and flicked on the rooms camera. He doubted she try and harm herself, but it was always important to monitor the brigs occupants.

Harry was a little taken with the news. Last he heard, Clarly was up in her room. Now she was in a holding cell. He was a little busy, but clearly this could not wait, he left the bridge and made his way down to the brig at once.
