Location: XO's office
Timeline: MD001 1930

Bervag had just processed the whole "promotion" thing and was sitting in his shipboard office, reading a PaDD. He had been sitting semi quietly. That is until.he heard a chime.

"Enter" he said.

T'San walked in to the office of her new commanding officer. "Captain," She said as she just took a seat across from Bervag. "I am no counselor, but how are you? You seemed a bit tensed when you got that promotion. You were a great first officer, I am sure you will make a great commanding officer."

"Thanks, T'San. That means a lot." He said. "Its just, it's been a lot to process. You know. The switch, the rescue. That was my first posting an an XO. Now I have four pips. I'm glad they posted you as XO to be honest."

T'San looked to Bers, with a straight face. Her lips slightly curled. "I have never commanded anything but my own department. But I will do my best to assist you, Captain." She nodded to him. "This somehow feels familiar. And my daughter has a connection with you."

Bervag nodded. "And it feels likewise." He said. "Can I get you a tea or anything?"

"Yes, thank you. Mint tea with honey," She said calmly, "So how have you been, since well, everything that is happening?" She asked both politely and slightly concerned.

"Coming along" he smiled, replicating two teas. He handed one to T'San. He went back to his desk. He sipped and sighed. " Must admit, this is good. Very relaxing"

T'San was holding the mug, looking to the captain. Her lips curling a bit. "That is nice, captain." She nodded. "So on to the next adventure then?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Of course" the Trill winked.
