ON: OLD: Leban smiled. "Have you now major?" He looked to the doctor and then back to the major. "Doctor, major, would you llike to join me? I was on my way to Dan and Nidira's for some lunch. My wife is already there. Please join us. We do not have company often due to our position in the fleet." For his part, John knew he wouldn't mind joining the general and his wife for lunch, so he looked to Charlie for her opinion. "Shall we?" "Oh, yes, I would be honored," Charlie replied. She didn't think this would happen. Meeting her greates example and even being invited for lunch. And his wife was there, Ambassador Meran was revered in starfleet. It was said she became an admiral at a young age. She was with the diplomatic corps granted. And she was going to meet her. Leban nodded, "Excellent," He then walked ahead of them in to the the lounge. He looked around. All seemed quiet for the moment. He then walked up to the table where his wife was seated. He stopped and then pointed over to Charlie and John. "These are Major Dilucca an Doctor Pearce. They will be joining us, that's alright right?" Talim looked to the couple. And a smile appeared on her face and said, "Of course, why wouldn't they be?" She gestered to them to sit down. "I am Ambassador Talim Meran." She reached over and grabbed Charlie's hands, "Wonderous to meet you." After shaking Charlie's hands, she grabbed John's hands as well. "I hope you have a blessed day, where the Prophets walk wit you." Charlie looked to the Betazoid ambassador. She was a bit overwhelmed by her present. And she didn't expect to see the Bajaron earring in her ear. But then she realized that the General had taken her last name, so the ambassador must've agreed to convert to Bajoran believes. She smiled and replied politely, "It's an honor to meet you, thank you for letting us join." Talim smiled and sid, "Of course, dear, don't listen to the rumors, I only got General O'Donnaghue climbing the curtains. when I enter the room." She giggled, "But don't tell him I said so, ok, dear." She winked to Charlie. Charlie nodded but didn't say anything and Leban waved to the girl behind the bar. The came over to them. "Ah, Nidria," Leban said, "Is Dan in too?" Nidria shook her head and said, "Dan is too busy with the wedding right now, but he had cooked some dishes last night, can I interest you in his famous Italian Spaghetti? " "Spaghetti sounds good to me," John said with a nod. "What do you think, Char...?" He didn't know where the diminutive of her name had come from or why he had used it but somehow it seemed to fit. He couldn't believe how comfortable he was with this woman. He'd had other relationships in the past but none of them had felt as comfortable in the beginning as this did - not even with his now ex-wife. Charlie nodded and smiled to Nidria, "Spaghetti sounds great." She looked to the Merans. They nodded in agreement. "Everything is good," Talim said and then looked from John to Charlie. She elbowed Marci softly and said to him telepathically, "I think these two are imzadis." Marci just grinned and replied telepathically, "I believe you are right."
