Mission:
[Shanghai]S1E9 Return of Bervag Bers
Location: USS Shanghai-Sickbay
Timeline: MD001 2115 hrs
Captain Bers strolled somewhat confidentlly into the USS Shanghais sickbay. As he entered his mind couldnt help but wander. He knew that he was fit, and leas he had a pretty good idea. But he also knew that he hadnt been on a starship in a little while. And that provided at least some doubt. But he put his best face on. He nodded to the personnel that he met as he scabbed the room.
"Ah!" he said, walking over to a familiar face. "Lucky I know the Doctor." he muttered to himself
T'San was organizing the infirmary. The people who came up after her did some changes. She was also filling up the medical supplies. She was looking at a padd as she sensed two familiar presences coming close to her. She turned around half a smile curled her face. "Captain Bers, welcome back to the Shanghai."
"T'San. Good to see you again." Bervag replied.
T'San nodded. "After what happened last year after the wedding, Dan and I had a long talk when we heard that you were returning to the Shanghai, he believed I should go with you. You need my expertise at your side." She titled her head as she continued, "I also brought T'Meela and Orson. T'Meela will assist me in sickbay, but will also run the ship's messhall and bar with Orson. Dan thought you might wanted some family cuisine on board. He ca not come himself, but he assures you those two have been trained by him personally the past year. You are in good hands. Orson has also offered to assist you as mission advisor." She walked to a cart and took out a medical tricorder. I am sure the two of them will report to you after they have settled in in their new quarters." She started to scan the Trill.
She looked to the tricorder. "I do not believe no extensive examinations will be needed, sir, I received your medical files ahead of time. I found no significant changes to warrant that."
Bervag nodded. "Efficient as ever I see." he chuckled. He felt relieved already. He'd come to rely on T'San greatly on the old Juno. Plus it felt great to have a doctor that knew him better than he really knew himself. Plus hearing that there was no change was icing on the cake.
When she finished her scans she put the tricorder away. "And I do not see anything different from that observation here either. Unless there is something you want me to look at, captain?"
"No, I think that's it, T'San." Bervag said. "Thank you."
"Understood," She said back. "If you are interested come bay tomorrow for some dinner at my quarters. We hope to have some dinner with you. I believe T'Meela and Orson have something exquisite planned."
"Ill be there." He said. "I wouldn't miss it for anything." he added, excitement in his voice.
T'San nodded and said, "Excellent, I shall inform the children. They will be very excited to see you again as well." She then hand him a padd. "This my preliminary report on the department so far. Read when you find it convenient. You will find we are ready to leave port again. I know we all have been held back since the attack on star fleet and the loss of Admiral Le."
Bervag nodded. "Thank you, T'San." he said, giving the padd a quick look. "It'd be good to get back into space again I have to admit." he added.
The Vulcan doctor tilted her head. "Even if it isn't so dreamy out there anymore. War was declared." But she really understood the appeal the captain spoke about.
