Mission: [USS Ottawa] S1, E3: The True Way
Location: USS Ottawa Bridge
Timeline: 06/02/2394, 0900 Hours

Domingo and the bridge crew, were ready to go. The USS Ottawa dropped out of warp and entered the Kilranda System. The main viewer had a picture of the planet, and a small object that was getting larger. It was Starbase 714. Domingo smiled for a moment, then realized he was going to be stuck on this ship for a while. "Ensign O'Donnaghue, dock us with the station." Called out Domingo, as he walked over to the helmsman station.

As they approached the station, they could see a Cardassian Keldon Class Starship next to the station. They must have choose not to dock with the station. "That's something you don't see every day." Said Emily. She loved the craftsmanship of the Cardasians.

"Let's stay on focus." Simply said Domingo. He agreed with her, but at the moment they had a job to do. And they needed to dock the ship, and meet up with the Cardassians.

"Aye sir." Said Emily, feeling a little embarrassed.

"Mister Sharpe, You will be in command once we board the station. the colonel had a message for you, Don't go joy riding, and she wants her ship in one piece." Said Domingo, giving his friend a hard time. He knew Gabe hated being in command.

"Of course not Commodore... After all it'd be that'd be me that'd be repairin' her." Gabe replied with a wink, "Takes all the fun outta it."

"Right, still trying to get use that rank." Said Domingo as he looked over to Sarah.

"Miss Sanchez, are you ready to meet up with Cardassians?" Domingo asked. Domingo felt like he was not ready, but that was not going to stop them.

Sarah nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, sir, I got my readings here, I know the names of the delegation. Their quarters ready with the right temperature, and the complimentary bottle of canar. I have checked with entertainment, they will love it and security is all said up. Where is commander Drakord? He has the security report." Sarah looked around.

"He is making final preparations with station security for his arrival, since the station is short staff, we will be using some of our security and marines to protect the delegation, till the rest of the station crew arrives." Said Dom as he looked to Sarah.

Sara nodded. "Yes, sir, understood."

"Very good." Simply said Dom, as he shifted his focus on Gabe. "Commander Sharpe, take the Ottawa and establish a combat patrol. I want an early warning system in case anyone tries to take advantage of the situation." Said Dom as he looked to Gabe.

Gabe nodded as he made his way to the captain's chair. "Ya'll be the second to know." He replied as she sat down. He shifted uncomfortably for a few seconds. "We'll keep our eyes open."

Dom noticed Drakord walking onto the bridge. "Are we ready to go Commander Drakord?" Asked Dom, hoping the klingon security officer was ready to go.

"Yes sir." Drakord nodded to Dom as he handed the security report to him. "It of course not optimal that the station is lacking in crew but I'm more than confident that the Ottawa's personnel are up to the task and the stations security measures are ample."

"Glad to hear it, Miss Sanchez we will meet up the Cardassians, shortly. The rest of you know what to do." Said Domingo as he looked around the bridge. He knew this may be the last time he commands the Ottawa. She was now Ellie's to command.
