Mission Summary

USS Ottawa launches from Beta Antares Fleet Yards. Captain Martinez meets with his new crew and begins to make preparations to leave. Shockingly the Ottawa is ready to leave on schedule.

He orders the ship to the Cestus System, where they meet up with the Gorn Hegemony. The moment goes without incident. They basically want the Ottawa to explain what they are doing in their sector of space.

In between the mission the crew of the Ottawa begin to mold together. The old crew is now struggling with PTSD, while the new crew members are working on ways of helping their shipmates adjust.

The USS Ottawa continues on course for Starbase 400. The Gorn seem to be shadowing the Ottawa. This makes the crew very nervous, but they are staying on their side of the border. Both crews struggle to maintain hope when it appears that a conflict with the Gorn Hegemony is inevitable.

Domingo Martinez assures his crew they are only making sure that the Ottawa stays on their side of the border. This was an old tactic the United States and Russia use to do in the cold war. He also reminds them, that the Klingon Empire use to do this to the Federation as well.
